The operating system, run across every company you own.

An Opportunity ID for each portfolio company, ranked by the size of the prize. Builds where the evidence earns them, killed or scaled on what the numbers say. We can also run it during diligence, before you close, so the seller’s own records tell you what the deal model cannot.

What you get

The deliverable, exactly.

One OID per company

Sequenced by where we expect the largest prize. Each one reads like an investment memo, so your team can underwrite it the way they underwrite everything else.

A ranked book

Every opportunity across the portfolio on a single list, sized in dollars, graded for confidence, with its stop condition attached.

Sequencing

Our recommendation on where to run first and why. The decision stays yours.

Builds

Ten weeks each, running concurrently across companies, at a fixed price per build.

Reporting

The kind an investment committee can read in one sitting. Prize, evidence, spend, status, and whether each bet is being scaled or killed.

How it runs

Step by step.

Diligence

Run one OID on the target before you close, from the data-room export, with no site visit and nothing asked of the seller’s people. The seller’s records show what the deal model doesn’t, and it is priced like any other OID.

The first quarter

OIDs across the book, ranked. The first builds start where the prize is largest.

Ongoing

The portfolio runs like a production line. Opportunities come in, get sized, and are built or killed on evidence, with reporting every quarter.

Exit

Every build leaves structured data infrastructure and a documented record of what was tested behind it. Your banker can point to it, and your acquirer can build on it. And when a mechanism turns out to be worth more as its own company than as a line in a portco, we help you spin it out and fund it.

Questions

Asked before the first call.

Each OID is $500 and is credited against its build. Builds are a fixed price per company. The portfolio layer is priced on the size of the book and stated before any money moves.

An afternoon per company for the working session, and weekly evidence during builds. Nothing is installed, and nothing is asked of portfolio company staff.

Yes, and most sponsors do. One OID proves the method on your own book. The portfolio layer follows once it has earned its place.

Everything that was built: the code, the models, the data structures, and a documented record of the tests that were run and what they showed. That is what a buyer pays a premium for.
